NES - the specialist technical and engineering recruitment company - has announced the appointment of Lee Knowles and Duncan Pike as Company Directors.

Knowles has been with NES for over eight years, joining as one of the first on the graduate recruitment scheme before progressing to his management of a highly successful UK-wide division.

Pike has spent an impressive 17 years with NES - first with sister company MRA, before being promoted through the group to manage the North West's general engineering and infrastructure recruitment functions, from the Head Office in Altrincham.

Says Pike: "It is an absolute pleasure to be invited to join the Board at such an exciting time for NES".

"The level of business the company is enjoying is outstanding, with the number of requirements and placements at the highest level in the company's 28 years of trading".

"Our continued turnover and PBIT growth in what is seen as a traditional, established sector is phenomenal - and the overriding strategies in place will drive both our regional and national expansion plans".

Knowles continues: "Already we have had to take on additional staff across each of the key sectors we manage in order to meet the demands being placed on us by our clients - which is certainly an enjoyable position to be in".

"NES's competitive positioning and strong brand name in the sector is encouraging high levels of repeat business as well as really driving through our new business development opportunities".

Mark Tully, Managing Director, comments: "Both Lee and Duncan have repeatedly demonstrated their capability to deliver what has been asked of them and these appointments illustrate the opportunities that NES can offer as a forward-thinking, proactive organisation that is continually pushing the boundaries in each of the industry sectors it services".

"As always, with situations like this, promotions create their own prospects for talented individuals to rise through the ranks - the only difficulty now is how to choose between so many qualified recruiters".
