NES announced as a finalist in the Onrec Awards 2006 following improvements in its online infrastructure.

Technical and engineering recruitment company NES has been short listed as a finalist in the Onrec Awards 2006 The company has made considerable changes to its web site infrastructure since its relaunch in 2004, but key among them has been the establishment of individual discipline and regional specific web sites that are focused on their respective sectors and automated integration between online and offline systems

The company submitted its proposal for "Best technical innovation in online recruitment" in December and has successfully reached the final stage; an awards ceremony will be held to announce the winners.

Matt Cody, Marketing Manager, said: "It is fantastic that our web site improvements have been recognised in this way and we just hope that we are successful on the night".

"The advances that have been made in online recruitment and internet technologies have enabled us to develop our online capability and really make the most of this relatively new channel to market".

"We are up against some strong competition in this category, but this was only to be expected for this kind of award".

"We believe that what we have achieved will convince the judges of the competition, and NES will be the company that wins the award this year".
