Netzsch Filter Press Division has introduced the Contipress, a compact continuous filtration system that operates with exceptionally low power consumption.

It has been designed to meet the growing demand for dewatering plants for industrial wastewater and municipal sewage.

The Contipress, which is now available throughout Europe, is the result of five years joint development with the Ishigaki Company in Japan and already has two years operational experience in sewage treatment plants.

New continuous filtration technology developed for the Contipress provides significant benefits for waste-water and sewage installations including: minimum man power requirement; compact construction; low investment costs; excellent dewatering performance; low maintenance costs and ecologically compatible operation at low noise level.

The Contipress is available in a number of sizes, making it ideal for many different applications in the field of dewatering slurries and suspensions.
