Netzsch Nemo has introduced a range of specially designed stators with reduced wall thicknesses that allow progressing cavity pumps to operate at higher differential pressures per stage

Netzsch Nemo Pumps Ltd have introduced a range of specially designed stators with reduced wall thicknesses that allow their progressing cavity pumps to operate at higher differential pressures per stage; and higher temperatures, than standard stators The metal outer casing of the stators is cast to form part of the profile of the stator itself, allowing a thinner wall of elastomer to be used

This reduces deformation of the elastomer where larger, solid rotors are used; and reduces expansion due to higher temperatures.

Netzsch Nemo progressing cavity pumps are therefore able to operate at higher differential pressures (up to 12 bar per stage) and at higher temperature ranges.

The higher manufacturing tolerances permitted by the design also results in greater mechanical and volumetric performance.

Lower interference tolerances (slip) between the stator and the rotor also mean that a lower starting torque is required and wear properties are greatly improved.

Stators with the reduced wall thickness are available for most progressing cavity pumps in the Netzsch Nemo range.
