The latest Profi Ti air hoists from JD Neuhaus combine higher performance, reduced noise and greater safety with increased lift/lower speeds.

The latest Profi Ti air hoists from JD Neuhaus combine higher performance, reduced noise and greater safety with increased lift/lower speeds.

Capacities from 3.2 to 16t and lift heights up to 3m ensure that these products are ideally suited for use in a wide range of general industrial engineering applications, including hazardous areas which encompasses chemical, food, woodworking, oil and gas operations.

Performance has been increased by 50% overall, with higher efficiency and reliability for end users.

The sound pressure level has also been reduced by 8dB(A), which ensures a safer and more comfortable working environment for operators.

These modern design hoists are compact, without protruding control hoses or other elements which could be damaged, particularly when used for horizontal pulling.

They also feature patented motor lubrication, which minimises servicing and maintenance requirements.

A continuous supply of high quality grease is supplied during motor operation, but this is prevented from creating environmental pollution.

They have also been designed for 100% duty rating, which also reduces unnecessary downtime.

Operating safety has also been enhanced with a newly designed overload protection.

The hoists are supplied with a valve in the main air supply, which ensures the energy supply can be shut off for isolation, or in the case of an emergency.

A patented motor braking system is provided in addition, which ensures operation with low maintenance and little wear.

The hoists are also suitable for operation at 4 or 6bar nominal air supply pressures.

As air is an inherently safe operating medium, the hoists are suitable for use in hazardous areas according to EC Directive on Hazardous Locations 94/9/EEC, as standard to Ex II 2 GD II A T4 (x)/II 3 GD II B T4 (x).

They can also be supplied with additional sparking protection to Ex II 2 GD II C T4.
