Ultracompact, lightweight manual chain hoist fully complies with current handling and safe working practice legislation, and is equipped with an overload limiter as standard.

As the exclusive UK distributor for the Kito range of high quality electric and manual chain hoists, J D Neuhaus is now able to offer the CX003 ultracompact, lightweight manual chain hoist, which has a lift capacity of 250kg The CX003 fully complies with current handling and safe working practice legislation, and is equipped with an overload limiter as a standard feature

This portable unit will be extremely useful at worksites undertaking duct installation, general maintenance tasks, or any engineering jobs requiring the lifting and movement of lightweight loads.

It will also have a place in many other production areas as diverse as cement, chemicals and food production, together with foundries, refineries and sawmills etc The new CX model has a headroom dimension of only 217mm and builds on the success of Kito's LX series, fulfilling the same compact and lightweight criteria, while building on operational performance and safety.

This aluminium bodied unit has been designed to be one of the smallest and lightest chain hoists available on the market, with a total weight of 2.4kg for a hoist with a standard 2.5m lift.

With safety and ease-of-use in mind, the total amount of manual effort required to lift a full load of 250kg is only 147N.

Also, both top and bottom hooks have wide openings with 32mm capacity for ease of installation and load attachment.

Both hooks are also supplied with tip-supporting structures to help prevent loads from side slipping.

With a grade 100 nickel electroless plated load chain and a hand chain manufactured from SUS304, the highest levels of corrosion and wear resistance are guaranteed.
