Off-highway driveline products are to be Highlighted by Newage Transmissions at a leading European industrial vehicle exhibition.
Newage Transmissions' latest axle unit, designed specifically for use with electric drive inputs, will be the centrepiece of the company's presentation on Stand 12019 at the European Industrial Vehicle Exhibition, IVT Expo 2000, to be held in Hamburg between 14-16 June Developed to meet the challenges of more environmentally friendly passenger and freight transportation, the 90RF rigid axle unit is already standard equipment with one leading electric truck manufacturer in the UK and is under evaluation with a number of other electric vehicle producers world-wide

Newage gears up for the crick boat show
Newage Transmissions will reinforce its position in marine gearboxes for canal and inland waterway applications by featuring its full range of PRM pleasure craft transmissions at the Crick Boat Show.
The new model features high efficiency, double reduction gearing with an axle ratio of 18.36:1 as standard.
It carries a maximum output torque rating of 1000 Nm and is designed for loads up to 800 kg.
Each unit comes equipped with both hydraulically operated hub-mounted drum brakes and a cable operated parking brake.
Also on show at IVT Expo 2000 will be Newage's recently-announced double reduction 518RFH hydrostatic axle.
Particularly suitable for construction industry dumper truck applications, this new rigid axle unit incorporates an integral transfer gearbox, in-board planetary gear reduction units and fully floating half-shafts.
In addition, the Coventry-based driveline equipment specialist will be exhibiting further examples of its proven off-highway vehicle units, including its type 85M transmission, which is used extensively in dumpers or other site vehicles, and the G2000 transfer gearbox for four-wheel drive off-road applications.
According to Newage's Sales Manager, Roger Mills, "IVT Expo 2000 provides the ideal forum to meet and do business with purchasers and specifiers across the breadth of Europe's industrial vehicle industry.
