LAN cables set for Korean airport expansion

Nexans has been awarded a Eur 5.91 million contract by the Incheon International Airport Corporation for the Phase II expansion project of South Korea's largest airport.

Nexans has been awarded a Eur 5.91 million contract by the Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) to supply LANmark fibre optic and copper network cabling solutions together with its LANSense Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM) system for the Phase II expansion project of South Korea's largest airport.

Nexans has signed this contract with Daesun ENC, the SI partner of Nexans in Korea, acting on behalf of the Incheon International Airport Corporation for which KT Consortium is the turnkey system provider.

Kukdong, a Nexans company in Korea, will provide the complete cabling systems for this project.

The full range of copper and fibre optic cables will be supplied in co-operation with Nexans' worldwide LAN cable operations, including Belgium, Korea, USA and UK.
