Nexans has launched a new LANmark-OF empty patch panel, for 24 fibre optic snap-in connectors with sliding mechanism.

Nexans has released a LANmark-OF empty patch panel, for 24 fibre optic snap-in connectors with sliding mechanism.

It has been designed to meet the cabling market's growing demand for more flexible and technologically advanced network solutions for fibre optic applications.

The innovative LANmark OF snap-in patch panel offers customers a user-friendly preterminated package with two large openings at the back for easy access to the panel, while at the same time protecting connectors against accidental damage.

A pliable plate provides fastening points for the assemblies.

A dedicated stud on the base plate further simplifies installation work and the panel can accommodate up to four trays.

For trouble-free installation, the panels are equipped with easy-roll wheels for effortless opening and closing and the base plate can be removed completely.

To accommodate extended cable management, the panels contain multiple openings and provide for both cable glands and tie-wraps to fasten cables.

The cable glands accept 20 and 25mm cables.

The front offers three optional positions: recessed, flat or pulled-out.

They are robust and stable enough to prevent any movement while patching is done.

The units are available in black or white on a powder coated base.

As with all Nexans products, the new optic fibre snap-in patch panels support standard protocols and come with a full LANmark system warranty.
