Strengthening Relations: IIRSM Govenor joins the NEBOSH Advisory Committee.
Mrs Jacqui Welham FIIRSM, CFIOSH and a member of the IIRSM Board of Governors has been appointed to the NEBOSH Advisory Committee.
Teresa Budworth, chief executive of NEBOSH, met with Mrs Welham and Zoe Kavadas, IIRSM membership manager, in early September to discuss new ways to strengthen the relationship between the two organisations in light of an existing Memorandum of Understanding agreed four years ago.
Most notably, the agreement paved the way for IIRSM to offer holders of the NEBOSH National General and International General Certificates membership at Associate level (AIIRSM) in order to enhance their development and be recognised by a professional body.
IIRSM and NEBOSH continue to recognise the benefit of working closely to promote awareness of both organisations with the ultimate aim of enhancing health and safety in the workplace.
