Northern Precision has recently supplied Smart Machine Technologies of Virginia, USA, with a batch of sheet nuts for use in the construction of bespoke materials handling equipment.

As well as recent contracts from Chile and Portugal, Northern Precision has recently supplied Smart Machine Technologies of Virginia, USA, with a batch of sheet nuts for use in the construction of bespoke materials handling equipment.

Founded in 1975, Smart Machines designs and builds special-purpose processing equipment for companies involved in the tobacco, beverage pasteurising, food, and rock and gravel handling/mining industries.

Much of the work involves stainless steel of varying thicknesses, and NP supplied a number of M5 and M6 stainless steel sheet nuts with a knurled body.
