Northern Precision has donated GBP 300 to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) in lieu of buying corporate Christmas cards.
Receiving the cheque from Northern Precision sales account manager Samantha Grice, Katie Bland, NSPCC Corporate Appeals Manager said: "We are really grateful to Northern Precision for their fantastic support".
"All the money raised will help the NSPCC to run projects for children, young people and families who need us, including the team based in Doncaster who provide a therapeutic service to children and young people who have suffered harm".
"None of the services and projects would be possible without the continued generosity of donors, fundraisers and supporters".
Northern Precision Sales Director, Steve Smith, commented: "We feel that the high cost of overprinted greetings cards can be put to better use if we use conventional cards and donate the balance to a good cause".
"If every company in Doncaster followed our lead then charity fund-raising would be helped enormously".
