Minebea reckons its new DC blower is the smallest single-inlet two-ball-bearing centrifugal fan in the world.

Minebea reckons its new DC blower is the smallest single-inlet two-ball-bearing centrifugal fan in the world.

Despite a size of only 44 x 45 x 15mm, the blower achieves a high performance level.

The B30 version of this small blower delivers an airflow of 1.25 litre/s in free air, and ensures optimum cooling for high- speed processors.

Higher performance versions are also available.

The noise figure of only 35dBA can be further reduced to an almost nonaudible whisper through speed regulation according to temperature.

By employing Minebea's precision ball bearings designers can expect very long life, reliability and low noise, even at high temperatures.

The scroll and impeller are made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic.

Integrated electronics ensure commutation of the brushless DC motor, faulty polarisation and locked rotor protection as well as automatic restart.
