Northern-based Thomas Wright/Thorite Group, the compressed air specialist, is the first company to be named a Norgren 'Solution Centre' and has entered into a closer relationship with the global pneumatics expert.
Thomas Wright and Thorite customers will benefit from the partnership with the UK pneumatics industry market leader through an extended range of products and services available locally, backed by Norgren's quality guarantee.
The Thomas Wright/Thorite group offers customers a true one stop pneumatics shop, providing everything from individual components to control systems, plus tailor made engineering, servicing, logistics and training back up.
Thomas Wright/Thorite's sales director, Ross Gowler said: "We have rationalised the way we operate to offer added value to our customers.
We have consolidated our four companies into one structure enabling customers to have one point of contact for all their needs.
"As a Norgren 'Solution Centre' we will be playing a similar role to a dedicated car dealership by selling new products and providing approved servicing for the Norgren brand".
On call engineers enable Thomas Wright/Thorite to offer 24 hour technical support and on-site service.
Control system design build and installation facilities have also been upgraded to meet growing customer demand and stringent quality standards.
Ten branches with local stock of fast moving lines, plus a ?1.3 million investment in backup stock at the Leeds hub, give customers the choice of trade counter collection, same day and next day delivery services.
In addition customer specific logistics solutions are available including machine build kits and just-in-time deliveries.
Customers can also order on line 24 hours a day using the recently launched service at www.thorite.co.uk.
Thomas Wright/Thorite also run a series of Norgren approved pneumatics training courses, and offer consultancy advice in Energy Efficiency for Compressed Air Systems ? yet another feature to add value for the customer and generate cost savings.
