In-line valve range saves space, time
and money
Norgren has extended its range of competitively priced in-line valves that feature higher flow rates than any other valve of the same body and port size.

New grippers from Norgren
A new range of grippers with a guaranteed life expectancy, and with the option of field repair, has been launched by pneumatics expert Norgren.
Smallest in the line-up is the V60, with an impressive flow rate of 750l/min for a 1/8 ported body.
Next is the V61 offering 1400l/min, for a 1/4 ported body, the V62 has a flow rate of 2600l/min for a 3/8 ported body and the biggest of the family - the V63 - has a 1/2 ported body and is capable of 4400l/min.
With a long cycle life of 50 million operations, the V60 Series has many innovative attributes, as well as all the standard features that Norgren customers have learned to expect, such as 3/2, 5/2 and 5/3 valve functions and a wide range of voltage options.
One of these new innovations is that the fixed length two- and three-station manifolds can be used in any combination to produce the correct size of manifold required, eliminating the need for blanking plates.
The flexibility of the V60 Series offers two 3/2 valves in one body.
Although available widely among modular manifolds, the V60 Series is the first to offer this feature in an inline valve.
In addition, double solenoid versions are available, with a single four-pin double coil mounted on one side of the valve, instead of the traditional method of two single coils mounted individually.
Because the double coil requires just one connector instead of the usual two, wiring is simplified, space is saved and customer costs are reduced.
For example, a typical application would be one where a customer requires ten 3/2 valves.
A competing product would require ten valves and ten connectors, whereas if Norgren's V60 Series was used, the customer would need just five 2-3/2 valves with five connectors, saving installation time, space and most importantly, money.
Appealing to OEMs, distributors and end users, the V60 Series has a clean, sleek, modern and robust design, so will not detract from the appearance of their machinery.
USA (NPT) and European (BSP) versions are both available, whilst extruded aluminium bar stock bodies provide the assurance of a well-built, high performance product.
