A Norgren product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 20, 2003

A new range of rodless cylinders is ideal for use in applications where space is at a premium.

As more and more original equipment manufacturers are faced with the need to reduce the size of their machines, so the pressure on component and subsystems providers to offer space saving product is increased.

In response to this pressure Norgren has launched a new range of pneumatic rodless cylinders.

Ideal for use in applications where space is at a premium, the new cylinders can be incorporated into a wealth of machine designs within such sectors as the electronics, packaging and printing industries.

Based on proven Lintra Lite technology the new series of rodless cylinders is designed for markets where high quality needs to be combined with competitive pricing.

Benefiting from an integral switch mounting the new range of rodless cylinders are aesthetically pleasing and feature fully machined anodised end covers with mounting holes.

Featuring a proven sealing system that prevents the loss of air and guards against the ingress of dust, the new range of rodless cylinders are available with adjustable cushioning as standard.

The double acting rodless cylinders can be specified in three diameters namely 25, 32 and 40mm with a maximum bore stroke of 5000mm, and longer strokes are available on request.

With an operating pressure range of 1 to 8bar the cylinders have a wide operating temperature range of -30 to +80C.
