Used in a wide variety of industries, the range of Smart FRLs (filter/regulator/lubricators) from Norgren helps to maintain optimum machine performance through the continuous monitoring of air preparation equipment.
Interfacing with ASi Fieldbus technology the Smart FRL can be used for fault finding and the monitoring of operating performance through a programmable display panel thus ensuring maximum machine up time.
Available with local and remote diagnostic capabilities, up to 31 Norgren Smart FRLs can be connected per ASi network allowing large compressed air systems to be monitored centrally.
The extensive range of diagnostics can warn the user when upstream/downstream pressure is too low for efficient operation, lubricant levels are low, filter elements need replacing and of faults within other equipment such as machine safety guards.
All these features facilitate preventive maintenance planning, thus minimising the risk of expensive downtime during production periods.
The user can also achieve significant energy savings by maintaining optimum pressure and correct lubrication levels.
