Soft start valve is easy on downstream equipment
A novel monitored soft start dump valve helps avoid costly machine downtime.
For customers who are seeking the advantages of damage prevention.
Norgren, offers a novel monitored soft start dump valve to help avoid costly machine downtime.
Designed to limit risks during initial pressurisation, the soft start valve allows a controlled increase of pressure, which supplies downstream equipment, reducing the possibility of damage due to rapid pressurisation.
The integral microswitch monitors the dump function, ensuring that the valve is in the signalled position prior to the next machine operation.
Based on a 0.5in pipe the valves deliver a high forward flow and dump flow capacity.
Available in Olympian Plus 64 or Excelon 74 variations the devices allow for incorporation into air preparation assembly or as stand-alone units and can assist with meeting the requirements of the 89/392/EEC Machinery Directive.
Featuring a maximum input pressure of 16bar and a minimum output of 3bar the units benefit from an operating temperature range of -20 to +50C.
