Name change marks a refocus on Buschjost's membership of Norgren's Fluid Controls Division.

Buschjost Norgren is the new name for process and all-media valve manufacturer IMI Norgren Buschjost.

Coinciding with its 75th anniversary, the name change marks a refocus on Buschjost's membership of Norgren's Fluid Controls Division.

As part of Norgren since 1997, Buschjost Norgren has enjoyed double-digit year-on-year growth manufacturing product at its Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, facility.

The business provides a core element of Norgren's Fluid Control Group focusing on process industries including oil and gas and petrochemical sectors.

Meeting the trend for more technically sophisticated and customised valves and system solutions, Buschjost Norgren is established in process industries as a technology and innovation leader.

The water treatment and energy and environment sector is an area where the business is increasingly providing solutions.

Announcing the name change joint Managing Directors Michael Preinerstorfer and Oliver Wehking explained that a major investment programme during 2008-09 would help to address increased demand for product.

According to Preinerstorfer: "An amount of Eur 1.1 million is being invested to increase the sise of our manufacturing facility by 25% - a further 1500m2".

"This will help us to meet increased business in the USA, Eastern Europe and in the emerging markets of India and China".

"In addition more than Eur 1.7 million will be invested in new machining centres and a flexible manufacturing facility during 2008 and 2009".

"The manufacturing system will afford us an extremely high degree of flexibility in producing both large and small numbers of pieces with little effort in terms of setting up the machines".
