A complete range of SMART microprocessor-based submersible level transmitters, the intelligent Klay Series 2000 - Hydrobar S, is announced by Nobel Systems

A complete range of SMART microprocessor-based submersible level transmitters, the intelligent Klay Series 2000 - Hydrobar S, is just announced by Nobel Systems Ltd.

These level transmitters with their 'all stainless design' are fully temperature compensated and equipped with strong flush diaphragms, which are laser welded to provide perfect long term stability.

A temperature sensor is mounted directly behind this diaphragm and monitors the process temperature.

It compensates the transmitter for temperature variations as well as being available, with the level/pressure information, on the digital output and built-in display.

Designed for top mounting with a local display, adjustment for calibration can be made by just three push buttons, while zero and span can be calibrated very easily without a test pressure.

Accuracy is an impressive 0.1% of the adjusted span with an analogue output of 4-20mA or digital with Hart or Profibus -PA protocol.

The measuring ranges are from 0-0.04bar to 0-4bar with wide rangeability, while the display, which is used during programming, can indicate a variety of chosen engineering units.

Process temperatures can also be indicated and damping times adjusted from 0 to 25 seconds, while a 4-20mA current simulation can also be performed and tank linearisation undertaken.

Special linearisation can be made for horizontal tanks.

Both measured and calibrated values can be read locally.

Full calibration can be completed using only the three push buttons or with the optional hand-held Hart terminal or by PC using special software.

The display and the three push buttons are normally covered and an optional transparent cover is available.

This allows the display to be used as a local indicator.

The Series 2000 - Hydrobar level transmitters can be used in fluids such as: water, wastewater, pulp, mud and chemicals etc., and are equipped with RFI filters as standard and manufactured to conform to the latest RFI/EMC and CE directives.
