The Gate 3S is an enhanced communication link between the Thermo Nobel local network that uses the Modbus RTU protocol and external networks, and which comes in a compact DIN rail package
The Gate 3S is an enhanced communication link between the Thermo Nobel local network that uses the Modbus RTU protocol and external networks.
Gate3S can be connected to most fieldbuses.
The unit translates to Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, Modbus Plus, CANopen, Interbus, Ethernet and Modbus/TCP.
This unit provides better connectivity than its predecessor the Gate 3 allowing more data transfer per transmission cycle as well as facilitating Ethernet connections.
The device is presented in a compact DIN rail package and is provided with a display to monitor relevant data such as weights and set points.
The display also allows the unit to be set up and provides a convenient diagnostic and service aid.
