Polyurethane offers choice of finish

A Norse Precision Castings product story

Rigid polyurethane is a versatile modern plastic capable of producing complex shapes for panels, chassis, enclosures and housings.

Rigid polyurethane is a versatile modern plastic capable of producing complex shapes for panels, chassis, enclosures and housings, and economical enough even in low quantities to allow individual needs to be accomplished.

The fluidity of rigid polyurethane from Norse Precision Castings during moulding also offers choice of finish.

Grained to provide a velvet finish with a suede-like touch or smooth for a natural or paint finish are both available.

The finish on the Acolyte laboratory instrument by Synbiosis, is a textured paint on smooth polyurethane giving a chic multi-tone 'speckled' finish, whereas Drake's Refresh range of voice communication modules uses different colours on the smooth finish for product variants.

The same fluidity promotes a quality image with a shallow recess for a logo or a moulded a logo as on a case lid.
