The Noble Denton Group is about to introduce an award for one promising young undergraduate per year, who will be reading Engineering at Downing College, Cambridge.

The Noble Denton Group is about to introduce an award for one promising young undergraduate per year, who will be reading Engineering at Downing College, Cambridge The first award is due to be given in Autumn 2001

The award is in memory of Dr Anthony (Tony) Albert Denton CBE FREng, one of the founder members of Noble Denton, who had a strong commitment to the engineering profession and passion for encouraging and nurturing new talent.

The award will give the successful candidate £5000 over their 4 years of study, as well as the opportunity to work with some of the industry's leading offshore and marine engineers at Noble Denton, across various disciplines.

This experience, however, will not be limited to London.

Since Noble Denton have offices in a number of key oil and gas locations around the world the winner of the award will have the opportunity to work in most of them.

After graduating from Downing College, should the candidate accept a position within Noble Denton, a further cash prize will be paid after 12 months.
