The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) has released the Transactions of the 110th Metalcasting Congress on CD-ROM.

The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) has released the Transactions of the 110th Metalcasting Congress on CD-ROM The 2006 Transactions contains the text and presentations of NADCA papers presented at the 110th Metalcasting Congress, held from 18th to 21st April 2006 in Columbus, Ohio

The 12 die casting sessions encompassed 18 papers as well as keynote presentations, success stories and panel discussions on the latest state-of-the-art technology.

Included on the CD are the transaction papers and presentations, keynote addresses and success stories.

Topics include process technology, process control and monitoring, cast materials, die materials, surface treatments, die coatings, semi-solid metal, squeeze casting, computer modelling and simulation.

Diecasters looking for the most recent technological developments in the industry can find it in the 2006 Transactions.

Projects over the last year are documented in detail, complete with Power Point presentations and necessary abstracts, figures and tables.

"The value of the congress sessions is that they expose people to the latest technology and research results, which can assist companies in enhancing their competitiveness", said Stephen Udvardy, NADCA Director of Research, Education and Technology.

"The presentations are composed by some of the leading researchers and experts in the die casting arena".
