Northwire has developed its 15-10-5 shipping programme in response to rapidly changing customer needs.

Northwire has developed its 15-10-5 shipping programme in response to rapidly changing customer needs.

According to a recent benchmark study from the Aberdeen Group (Manufacturing Performance Management Strategies Benchmark Report), the number-one pressure faced by manufacturers (67%) is customers demanding shorter lead times.

The Northwire 15-10-5 programme represents the company's commitment to delivering the cable customers require quickly.

The programme includes standard shipping within 15 working days after receipt of an order, 10-day shipping for simple two-pass cables and 5-day Northwire Express shipping service for as much as 1500m of custom-built cable after approval of drawings.

Next-day or same-day shipping of custom-built cable is also available to customers who stock their product at Northwire.

To make the programme even more customer-friendly, Northwire does not have minimum order requirements for the millions of custom-configured cable options it produces.

"Northwire thrives by being adaptable and responsive".

"We re-engineered our processes - from engineering support and manufacturing to quality testing and shipping", says Ted Beach, Director of Sales, Northwire.

"Our customers keep coming back because we consistently deliver on our promises and we guarantee that the quality will meet their standards".

"Northwire customers, regardless of their size or the size of their order, can get what they want when they want it - from ITC/PLTC for exposed run applications to retractable cable and rugged fieldbus cables for industrial networks, to J1939 and underwater cable", says Beach.
