The Guardian product line - available immediately in any length from stock - includes cable versions for standard and extreme environments using a four- or six-wire load cell.

New from Northwire, Guardian load cell cables are tough enough to handle all types of load cell applications, including truck, livestock, floor and railway scales.

The Guardian product line - available immediately in any length from stock - includes cable versions for standard and extreme environments using a four- or six-wire load cell.

The six-wire cables are best suited for longer runs with remote sense lines.

The standard load cell cable features a tough, weatherproof PVC cable jacket.

The cable is UL and CSA recognised.

The load cell cable for extreme environments is double jacketed, with polyurethane over PVC jacketing, to provide superior resistance to chemicals, abrasion and weather.

Both versions of Guardian cable are of flexible-construction 20AWG stranded tinned copper wire industry standard colour-coded conductors.

They also feature a tinned copper braid armour shield over an aluminised foil shield that provides protection from RFI and EMI, as well as from gnawing rodents.

The cables are temperature rated from -30 to +80C.

Cables can be customised with legends and company names.
