Northwire has added the Endurance line of cable assemblies for vision system applications to Northwiredirect, a website for ordering off-the-shelf cable, cable assemblies and connectors.
Northwiredirect will offer Endurance extended length/extended life MVC-800 Firewire IEEE 1394, suitable for up to 7m (23ft), GEV-1000 GigE, CCXC analogue camera, Camera Link and Camera Link PoCL cable assemblies.
Endurance vision cable assemblies are engineered with industrial-grade, dual over-mould connectors for enhanced strength and performance.
All Endurance cables are tested for high-flex life and have exceeded 10 million cycles on Northwire's standardised flex test protocol for tick-tock bending and rolling/torsion flex.
Many have exceeded 20 million test cycles.
Endurance vision cable assemblies provide ultra-reliable interconnectivity in motion and vision system applications.
Northwire cables use the company's elastomer jacketing material, making them suitable for rugged industrial and outdoor applications that require abrasion resistance, flame retardance, high- and low-temperature stability, sunlight/UV resistance, water resistance and weld-flash resistance.
All Northwire cables are certified as RoHS compliant.
