New from Nortech the NX-30 is the latest in a family of high-tech wide area wireless telemetry devices.
This compact unit brings together the latest in communications, satellite and web technology to offer a solution capable of monitoring and controlling both fixed and mobile plant and equipment from anywhere in the world - or just round the corner.
What makes the NX-30 different from its predecessors is the ability to simultaneously monitor 16 discrete (on/off) parameters and eight continuous (analogue) parameters in real time and report this information to the central iHost Web Service.
Users log in to iHost from any Internet connected PC using a unique username and password.
From there, all their remote site equipment is visible and can be controlled.
One key benefit is the ease with which remote monitoring can be established without the requirement for the user to install any application software.
The NX-30 is shipped "ready to go" - the user simply connects up the equipment to be monitored and turns the unit on.
