Notocord-S1 is a powerful software package for data acquisition, signal processing and long-term recording in industrial and academic applications.
Notocord-S1 is a powerful software package for data acquisition, signal processing and long-term recording in industrial and academic applications.
The system is modular and can be used stand alone or distributed over a network.
A user friendly graphical interface allows visual linking between acquisition, processing and display modules.
The software is compatible with most data acquisition hardware, and supports most common communication protocols (PCI, RS232, Ethernet, USB, FireWire etc).
Features include the capacity to handle hundreds of channels simultaneously and at different frequencies saved into a single file.
Sampling rate is up to 1Msample/s.
All data files are compressed to 25% of their original size to save disc space without signal loss or system slowdown.
Signals can be edited online - this is useful as looking back, zooming, scaling etc can be accomplished much more quickly during acquisition.
A huge amount of data (up to 4Gbyte file size) can be handled and viewed in typically 0.5s, and the package provides powerful data extraction and reporting capabilities via a two-way link with Microsoft Excel.
