Loadcells offer versatile force measurement

A Novatech Measurements product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 21, 2007

Novatech Measurements are happy to announce two new additions to their automotive and motorsport range of loadcells.

Novatech Measurements has released the F319 handbrake loadcell, offering excellent ergonomic force measurement as it is insensitive to ergonomic induced errors and those produced when loading the loadcell at unusual angles.

In tests, these errors were less than 1% of applied load.

This makes the F319 suitable for any application where force measurement on a handle or lever is required.

The F321 gearshift loadcell is a small form factor, three-axis loadcell designed as a direct replacement for the vehicle's gearshift.

Forces from a human hand or mechanical actuator are measured in three pure loadcell output signals.

Fittings can be produced to customer requirements.

Novatech loadcells are supplied calibrated and ready to use, no in-situ calibration or mathematical computation is required.

These loadcells can be produced for environmental test chamber temperature requirements of -40 to 80C.
