Process pipework manufactured by Norward has been produced to the highest standards, using high grade materials suitable for applications in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.

However, the company's experience and expertise in the supply of high-purity process pipework is now extended to other areas of production where cleanliness, hygiene and quality assurance could show positive commercial benefits.

These new markets include: general process and chemical industries; high purity gases and industrial coatings; food, beverage, toiletries and fine chemicals production, together with water treatment plants.

Other production applications using cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures could also benefit.

Full mechanical design, fabrication and installation of process pipework can also be provided by Norward, which can include the supply of associated vessels, pumps and custom built skid mounted equipment.

With a total commitment to quality, the company uses only the highest grades of stainless steel or other specialist materials, coupled with state-of-the-art automated orbital welding techniques.

Additional internal surface treatments also available include chemical passivation, chromium plating and electropolishing to high standards.

Finished products conform to ASME BPE2000 specifications and also comply with MCA and FDA standards.

Production is undertaken by highly trained, skilled employees, using specialist equipment in quality workshop areas and clean fabrication room conditions.

Norward was the first company in the UK to invest in the Model 307 automatic orbital tube welding machines, made in the USA by Arc Machines.

These are claimed to the most advanced machines of their type currently available, and provide a level of weld integrity that is essential for high quality installations.

Both auto weld and tack weld programs are offered by the machine, with multiple weld schedules also available.

Auto rotation calibration is provided, with programming by the time and/or position (degrees).

Weld data recording information can also be incorporated into customised reports for full QA support documentation.
