Industrial 12-inch industrial TFT displays offer a resolution of 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (SVGA/XGA), guaranteeing good readability even under very poor conditions.

New from noax Technologies is a 12-inch stainless steel NEMA PC with Pentium M technology and a heating system.

The computer convinces because of higher processor performance, enhanced on-board features and upgrade options as well as an electronically controlled heating system.

As a result the completely sealed V2A mobile computer is compliant with the protective standard IP65 is suitable for logistic applications in a hygiene sensitive environment such as the food processing industry.

Whether during a mobile utilisation on forklifts in low temperature areas down to -20C or during stationary use in a hygiene sensitive production facility, the waterproof and extremely compact Noax computer offers a wide spectrum of applications under extreme environmental conditions.

To guarantee a trouble-free long-term operation for several years the PCs combine a compact and completely sealed stainless steel design.

The industrial PCs are equipped as standard with high-contrast, extremely durable industrial 12-inch industrial TFT displays with a resolution of 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (SVGA/XGA) that guarantee good readability even under very poor conditions.

The integrated resistive touch panels with hardened plastic surface ensure simple operation.

When permanently subjected to chemicals the touch screen displays, for example, can be affixed with various touch-sensitive touch protective film appropriate for acids or alkalines.

The double-secured connectors and the installation of a particularly shockproof hard disk protect against shock and vibration.

For direct assembly on production carriers noax also uses, on request, particularly shock-resistant solid-state disks and special shock absorber pads.

The N8 all-in-one motherboard combines high-performance and a wide range of on-board interfaces as well as diverse upgrade options using standard slots in minimum space.

The S12 can be optionally fitted with an Intel Celeron 1.0GHz or an Intel Pentium M 1.4GHz.

Additionally the RAM can be upgraded up to 2Gbyte whereas the hard disc can be upgraded from 30 up to 60Gbyte.

Furthermore the board is equipped as standard with numerous onboard interfaces such as two RS232 (optional RS433 or 485, TTY), five USB 2.0, network Ethernet (RJ45) 10/100/1000, LPT, Monitor-DVI, PS/2 and floppy interfaces.

To allow an easy and uncomplicated connection of diverse peripheral systems such as WLAN, weighing systems, readers or scanners, the board offers diverse expandability options via onboard slots for two PCI boards, Compact Flash Type II and MiniPCI socket.

The connection of printers, external keyboards or drives also presents no problem.

The industrial PC can be heated up to operating temperature and then started within five minutes, so that utilisation in outdoor and deep freezing areas is possible.

The on-board micro controller installed as standard automatically executes numerous individually scalable monitoring, controlling and statistical operations such as counting the operating hours, controlling temperature and backlight, or controlling the heating system.

Users of previously manufactured S12s equipped with an N6 motherboard can be assured that replacement parts, or service and support, will still be available.

After the active five-year production period for an industrial PC, noax Technologies guarantees passive support for this unit for at least another five years.
