Miniature multilayer piezo actuator has 25% higher free stroke than competing products, and can be stacked for larger displacements.

Noliac reckons its 2 x 2 x 2mm multilayer piezo actuator has 25% higher free stroke than competing products Displacement is 2.8um, and the actuators can be stacked to provide free strokes up to 21um

Noliac's stacking technology also offers a unique manufacturing flexibility as any actuator height can be made from a defined number of single actuators.

Previously only available as a "special", the Ceramic Multilayer Actuator Plate 12 (CMAP12) has now been made a standard product to satisfy increasing demand.

" The CMAP12 has very high stroke within very small dimensions", says Noliac's Global Sales Manager Cedric Goueffon.

"The 2 x 2 x 2mm grants you more than 25% higher stroke than competitive products, and our ability to stack the component 10 times is unique".

"If you need precision in miniature form, this is your solution".

"It can fit anywhere", concludes Goueffon.
