Power SolidWorksToMax greatly improves work flow efficiency for design visualisation
nPower Software has released Power SolidWorksToMax, allowing native translation of SolidWorks files directly into Autodesk 3ds Max / Autodesk Viz.
nPower Software further facilitates the rendering of native SolidWorks models and assemblies through its new Power SolidWorksToMax translator.
Power SolidWorksToMax greatly improves work flow efficiency for design visualisation.
SolidWorks users no longer have to spend days or weeks translating their high-quality surface and solids models into imprecise polygonal models or intermediate formats, and then struggling to generate high-quality renderings.
Now with Power SolidWorksToMax, SolidWorks users can import their high-quality models directly into Autodesk 3ds Max / Autodesk Viz for high-quality rendering or animation without intermediate formats, and without loss of precision.
The native SolidWorks translator leverages IntegrityWare's precise geometric representation to generate extraordinarily smooth, crack-free renderings without polygonal artifacts.
Power SolidWorksToMax opens a streamlined, direct portal to the advanced 3D modeling and rendering environment of Autodesk 3ds Max / Autodesk Viz.
Power SolidWorksToMax is designed to handle the large data sets typical of CAD models.
It also contains all the necessary tools to clean up, prepare and render SolidWorks models.
Power SolidsWorksToMax gives users detailed control over the tessellation quality.
He/she can control the level of detail, the maximum edge length, and arc length.
Power SolidWorksToMax intelligently imports the CAD data, and will automatically sew disconnected surfaces that should be sewn together.
It also includes tools for cleaning up imported data.
Users can sew together faces, flip face normals, trim and un-trim, project curves, apply materials to faces, and other editing options.
Users can trim surfaces by curve projections or surface intersections.
Even when SolidWorks data is not correct, customers can use the Power editing tools to cleanup the models before rendering or animating.
Power SolidWorksToMax includes special memory management tools to effectively deal with the typical large CAD models and assemblies.
Users can intelligently snap to imported NURBS surfaces and solids for editing and cleanup operations.
Users can snap to edges, faces, vertices, edge midpoint and end points, greatly facilitating associative construction techniques.
