SolidWorks analysis tool hits the streets

Noran Engineering has begun shipping NEiWorks, its novel embedded Nastran finite element analysis (FEA) tool for SolidWorks.

NASA Tech Briefs has already recognised NEiWorks as its Product of the Month and has placed it as a finalist in its Product of the Year competition.

NEiWorks is a design analysis tool fully integrated within the SolidWorks 3D modelling environment.

A major selling feature is that NEiWorks can work with any Nastran FE solver, including NEiNastran, NX/Nastran or MSC.Nastran.

This makes NEiWorks the first design analysis tool that offers upward and downward compatibility with industry standard solvers.

This breakthrough will allow designers to send usable data directly to analytical engineers.

This will improve product design communication and remove barriers between designers and analysts within a company, as well as, with their customers, suppliers and partners.
