Noesis Solutions has appointed FE-Design as main distributor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for its flagship product Optimus.

The two companies - as leading providers of numerical optimisation solutions in the mechanical design and analysis market - have also announced the formation of the "Optimisation Alliance".
This alliance allows them to join forces in addressing the total market requirements for numerical optimisation.

Until now, the Optimus product line from Noesis Solutions was locally distributed by LMS Germany, a subsidiary of LMS International, the parent company of Noesis Solutions.
During a three-month transition period, FE-Design will gradually take over the marketing, sales and support role from LMS Germany to be fully operational by 1st January 2005.
LMS Germany will continue to promote Optimus optimisation technology, as embedded in the LMS Virtual.Lab product suite, LMS' integrated environment for functional performance simulation.
The Optimisation Alliance is open to all parties that bring significant customer value to the optimisation field.
