Using the power of the Internet, NSK-RHP is now able to provide all the contact details customers require, including a clear map which downloads to their computer, simply by entering a post code into a new updated web site at www.nsk-rhp.co.uk The site also provides easy access to complete product listings and a bearing cross reference guide, all introduced in eight languages.

Proving that the web is only as good as the information which is posted on it, NSK-RHP have produced a simple and straightforward site which provides direct access to the type of bearing related information that buyers often need in a hurry.

Irrespective of their geographical location in the UK, all prospective buyers have to do is input the minimum of information: i.e a postcode.

This enables contact details and a location map for the nearest authorised distributor to be brought-up on screen and downloaded.

The five nearest authorised distributors are shown giving the customer the choice of supplier they prefer to use In addition to matching buyers with distributors, the new web site also addresses other problems which have long caused hold-ups when specifying bearings.

Firstly the correct identification of products from partial product codes and part numbers, and secondly, matching original equipment product codes and part numbers with practical product descriptions and interchangeable referencing with other leading brands.

Using only part of a product code NSK-RHP's site search engine will list the best matches, with descriptions, to identify the exact product required as quickly as possible.

Currently, over 100,000 part numbers are covered by this service, including many out of date and obsolete references to help long standing customers.

Making a real move towards European integration, the site and its functions are all introduced in eight different languages.

As the site expands, the kind of search engine provided for UK suppliers' details will shortly be available as a pan European service.
