Machined springs overcome wound limitations
For those engineers familiar with the traditional wound spring format, Abssac is offering a new way of looking at reliability, performance and attachment by use of a machined spring.
Electrodeposited metal bellows come to the UK
Abssac now supports the full range of unique electrodeposited metal bellows and electroformed products available from the Servometer Corp as its newly appointed sole UK distributor.
The A105 range uses a stainless-steel stud and base and is fitted with an inset Nitrile rubber core, providing a high degree of vibration damping and making it suitable for use in the most arduous of conditions, including hygienic applications where equipment is frequently hosed down.
However, this new design uses s pressed base which not only results in a very smooth, easy to clean profile but reduces manufacturing costs without adversely affecting the performance of the finished mount, making the A105 extremely price competitive.
The A105 is available in 18 standard sizes with stud diameters ranging from M10 to M24 in a variety of lengths and bases of 50, 75 or 100mm diameter.
If this extensive range does not include the ideal size for a particular application, Nu-Tech Engineering can also produce custom sizes to order.
This new mount is ideal for supporting equipment ranging from conveyors, weighing machines and light duty machine tools to processing and packaging machinery in industries as diverse as food processing, medical, dairy, electronic, laser robotics and laboratory machinery/equipment.
At the same time Nu-Tech has launched a new low profile bolt-down stainless steel base and stud levelling foot.
Known as the A200, the range includes stud diameters from M8 to M24 and base diameters from 50 to 120mm with various bolt down options.
To ensure the widest range of users is catered for, 20 combinations have been included in the standard range with maximum load-bearing abilities ranging from 300 to 3750kg.
Again Nu-Tech is able to provide custom sizes if required.
The A200 is ideal for a host of application in the food processing, pharmaceutical, dairy, electronic, marine, medical and laboratory machinery/equipment industries.
