Signal conditioner excites and amplifies

A Nexen Group product story

The SC100 signal conditioner provides excitation and signal processing to amplify two low voltage sensor signals to industry standard voltage and current levels.

The SC100 signal conditioner provides excitation and signal processing to amplify two low voltage sensor signals to industry standard voltage and current levels for further use in process and monitoring applications.

The SC100 supports two different sensor families.

The first type are differential signal sensors such as strain gauge load cells used to measure force or tension.

The second comprises single-ended signal sensors such as LVDT load cells used to measure force or tension and web guide sensors used to measure web position.

This product easily integrates into a system because excitation voltages are adjustable and bipolar.

The SC100's excitation voltage is also capable of handling demanding sensor loads.

Outputs can be scaled to any desired engineering unit using onboard zero and span potentiometers.

This allows for quick calibration of sensors.

The SC100 interfaces easily with PLCs, PCs, indicators or other process controls.

The DIN rail mountable SC100 mounts simply into existing control cabinets.

This product is primarily for the web control industry, but may also be used in industries using low voltage analogue sensors where amplification is needed for monitoring or further process control.
