Nyquist is set to increase its commitment to the US OEM machine-building market in general and the semiconductor and medical markets in particular, and has enlisted the help of Kevin Steele to act as a consultant while it sets up its own US infrastructure.

Steele is a US citizen and is based in Santa Barbara, California.

He has great experience in motion control, having worked in this market for more than 15 years.

He was the first engineer with MEI and after ten years moved to Agile as VP Sales.

His strong technical background and sales/marketing experiences with OEMs are great assets.

Says Steele: "I see Nyquist's new NYCe4000 motion control platform as the ultimate total motion control solution for high performance applications and modular systems".

"A compact, integrated form factor, custom breakouts, superb motion control and I/O performance and comprehensive software tools provide the ideal package".

"Moreover it is designed for flexibility and serviceability with the OEM's supply chain and total cost of ownership in mind".

"I'm excited to introduce this flexible and powerful solution to the US OEM market at Semicon West".

Nyquist will be demonstrating the NYCe4000 in the South Hall, Booth 2944.

Hans ten Hagen, Nyquist's Sales and Marketing Director, commented: "Nyquist will be increasing its presence in the US market to better serve the needs of its customers".

"Together with Mr Steele, all other Nyquist employees will be at your service".

"This is Nyquist's commitment to the US market in general and to the semiconductor and medical markets in particular".

"We are looking forward to working with you".
