Orbitec-InViz is designed for fast, thorough inspection of welded pipes between 7 and 150mm internal diameter and provides fine detail up to a distance of 15m with the best fibre optic illumination available from such a system.

An economic yet multi-featured, fast and portable inspection solution designed for internal viewing of welded pipes and tubes, has been released by Orbitec International Ltd.

A true-colour inspection system for pipes and tubes, Orbitec-InViz provides fine imaging with maximum illumination and colour.

Images are viewed on a practical, 6.5inch handheld LCD display in true colour, housed within a splash-proof case which incorporates a Smart card write/reader for image recording and transfer.

The display unit clips to the line drum for easy, one-piece transport.

The waterproof camera head incorporates a Sony Super HAD sensor array producing high resolution in 440,000 pixels.

The ultra-short head is mounted on a flexible probe and allows 90deg side views with the minimum of centring.

A large depth of field for long, in-focus views is complemented by adjustable focus.

Orbitec-InViz is light yet robust with even the high-performance xenon light source integrated onto the drum body.

The flexible and hardy tube probe is easily rotated, having a torsion-optimised casing and a wide range of accessories is included as standard, including various, unique centring tools and different-sized probe types.
