ODU has a white version of its plastic-bodied Mini-Snap push-pull-locking circular connector particularly aimed at the medical equipment market.

ODU has a white version of its plastic-bodied Mini-Snap push-pull-locking circular connector particularly aimed at the medical equipment market.

It offers cost savings of up to 60% over metal-bodied variants when specified with stamped and formed contacts, providing an economical solution when designing in or changing to this type of connector system Three sizes - 1, 2 and 3 - are available and stamped and formed or machined contacts can be specified in up to 27 way.

Crimp, solder or PCB termination can be provided, and automatic termination is also possible with crimp contacts.

The connector is chemical resistant, sealed to IP67 and can be autoclaved.

It is also nonmagnetic and there is a shielded connector option.

Furthermore with its 100% touch protection, the lightweight component can be used with high voltages and frequencies.

This plastic-bodied variant is interchangeable with the standard metal-bodied units and is also available in black.

It is also suitable for other applications including consumer electronics, communications systems, instrumentation and control systems.
