The new ODU K series push-pull connector is compatible with other similar products on the market in terms of fit, form and function and is available in several forms to suit varying applications.

The new ODU K series push-pull electrical/electronics connector is compatible with other similar products on the market in terms of fit, form and function and is available in several forms to suit varying applications.

The component is waterproof to IP68, making it submersible, and is available in sizes 0, 1 and 2 with a total of 28 contact configurations with contact diameters from 0.5 to 2mm.

Pin and groove coding, enabling blind mating to be carried out with ease, and a positive locking system for the mated connector are also features.

Straight, right angle and three panel-mount configurations are offered and the brass-alloy body is available in three finishes, silver matt chromate, black matt chromate and bright nickel.

Solder, crimp and PCB terminations are optional and two insulator materials can be provided, one being Peek is easily capable of withstanding temperatures up to +134C to enable the connector to be autoclaved when used in medical applications.

The K series is part of the ODU Mini-Snap range of push-pull connectors, which also includes plastic-bodied variants.
