Exhibit echoes theme of Ethernet in automation
ODVA will highlight how innovative networking technologies hold the key to boosting efficiency and cutting costs in manufacturing at SPS/IPC/Drives.
On Stand 350, Hall 6 at SPS/IPC/Drives, ODVA will be highlighting how innovative networking technologies hold the key to boosting efficiency and cutting costs in manufacturing, while protecting investment in existing systems by providing a future-proof base that is fully scalable as new technologies emerge.
Aligning with the show theme "Ethernet in automation", ODVA's exhibit will spotlight EtherNet/IP, the most developed, proven and complete industrial Ethernet technology available today.
Seamlessly routing with other CIP Networks such as DeviceNet and CompoNet, EtherNet/IP uses standard, unmodified Ethernet and TCP/IP to allow users to easily keep pace with the continuously evolving Ethernet and Internet technologies.
This open network's installed base already exceeds one million nodes worldwide, with projected double digit growth rates over the coming years.
Most recently, EtherNet/IP has been adopted by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the People's Republic of China as a machinery industry standard for the People's Republic of China.
