One of the best-respected names in orbital welding, Orbitec has launched a UK company to market its technically advanced, high-value range from a brand new welding technology centre.
One of the best-respected names in orbital welding, Orbitec has launched a UK company to market its technically advanced, high-value range from a brand new welding technology centre.
Orbitec UK, partly owned by the German company, has its base in Derbyshire and its founders and staff have many years of experience in this technical and competitive market.
Orbitec manufactures high-specification, high value orbital welding systems with a series of unique, industry-leading features, such as integrated oxygen analysers, integrated ID pressure control systems and true portability with integral water cooling.
The standard range covers more than 95% of tube welding applications.
Orbitec UK was launched in November at Weldex 2003, with a full complement of product offerings and services.
The company is able to provide a full, nationwide after-sales package and, at its Derby headquarters, has facilities for the manufacture of bespoke systems and accessories to tailor products for almost any application.
Systems and accessories will be available for hire, a fast-growing and cost-effective option for users.
The brand new facility in Derby's prestigious iD Centre features a dedicated "technology centre" equipped with across-the-board services.
These include a training and education suite, after-sales and customer support resources, a weld-tech laboratory and full HQ amenities as well as specialised production capability.
