DC and AC brushless motors now to IP65

NNeckar Motors have introduced an IP65 range of DC and AC brushless motors and gearboxes with totally enclosed terminal boxes and completely round aluminium and alloy housings

New for the year 2001, Neckar Motors have introduced their IP65 range of DC and AC brushless motors and gearboxes.

All the units have totally enclosed terminal boxes and completely round aluminium and alloy housings.

This makes the units extremely lightweight and compact with a very high power to weight ratio.

Further enamelling can be added to improve their resistance to harsher chemical environments.

The motors are available with integrated single quadrant speed controls, or panel mounted controls which offer a speed range of 30:1 at full torque.

Motor sizes start from 44W at 53mm diameter to 200W at 83mm diameter, and they can be combined with spur, worm or planetary gearboxes.

Due to their compact, lightweight and rugged construction, these motors are used in a wide variety of applications including wash-down conveyors and checkweighers, machine tools, pumps, medical instruments, hand tools, robotics, process machinery and fans.
