A new range of small geared motors from Minimotor combine the benefits of a worm-gear 90-degree drive with the efficiency of a final planetary stage.

A new range of small geared motors from Minimotor combine the benefits of a worm-gear 90-degree drive with the efficiency of a final planetary stage.

This results in an extremely good torque output for a given motor size, especially for high reduction ratios.

For example at 75:1 reduction ratio, these gearboxes can produce over twice as much torque as a standard worm gear of the same ratio, using the same motor power.

This gearbox technology is available over the whole Minimotor range from 20 to 270W output power, in both AC and DC formats.

Furthermore all Minimotor products are now supplied as standard with IP65 protection, making them ideal for harsh environments such as chemical engineering machinery, washdown conveyors and outdoor applications.

Minimotor products are available in the UK exclusively from OEM Automatic.
