Whereas some manufacturers have managed to fit their relays into such a housing at the expense of outputs or other features, the NST2005 maintains the standard of three normally open safety contacts and one auxiliary output for direct connection to a PLC.

Two channel inputs from E-stop circuits, gate switches, safety mats or light guards are supported and the reset circuit may be configured for either automatic or monitored manual operation.

Wiring is kept to a minimum by utilising internal jumpers to configure the relay allowing single or two channel operation, a number of reset options and the choice of auxiliary output to be easily set.

A current limited output means that safety mats and gate switches can be safety used.

Finally, options are available in both 24V AC/DC and 48-240V AC supply, with either fixed or detachable screw terminals.
