MiniMotor has added a new optional regulation feature to its range of motors available from OEM Automatic.

MiniMotor has added a new optional regulation feature to its range of motors available from OEM Automatic.

The new feature uses an arrangement of two limit switches on the gear unit's output shaft in a totally enclosed cover, maintaining the standard IP65 protection rating and providing an automatic stop from 0-28rev/min (settable) in both forward and reverse directions.

The new option is available on the MC and PC single- and three-phase worm-geared motors and the MCC and PCC 12/24V DC worm geared motors from 14 to 270W P2 output power with torques up to 17.4Nm at low speeds.

This feature is particularly useful for constant forward and reverse applications where repeatability is required, such as product movement or placement, and overhead gantry movement.
