Delcon solid state input relays feature multilayer interference suppression to ensure reliable switching in industrial areas where electrical noise can cause problems.

Delcon solid state input relays feature multilayer interference suppression to ensure reliable switching in industrial areas where electrical noise can cause problems.

The relays have a unique current-voltage hysteresis circuit which give clearly separated switching points.

Current hysteresis also means that the relay impedance changes at the switch points.

At switch-on the step increase in impedance tends to force the relay further on and at switch-off the reverse.

This means that it is impossible for the relays to chatter and switching is always reliable, even under the worst conditions.

Additional suppression against capacitive leakage means that unshielded signal cable can be used even when installed adjacent to other power cables.

The relays will still operate reliably and installations with several kilometres of cable are possible.

A special version is available specifically for use with two wire AC proximity sensors.

These devices typically have high levels of leakage current that can cause other relay types to incorrectly switch.

The Delcon relay has full wave rectification on the input to ensure correct and reliable operation.
